so I got the umbrella,and I started
off on my walk..I hear something
behind me,I turn to look, you never know what is in the big woods..it was my little friend,Shag the cat..
through the big woods.
We don't like the looks of this..we are not quite ready..
....need I say more...
Shag the cat sees something in the water.
A closer look, ahh yes you have been
there for days or is it a week??well actually since Aug.6th..
It is the tarpin(box turtle)from an earlier post..
sometime,I want to see what you are
gonna do,I'm just not sure if you are
cooling off or conditioning your shell.
hmmmmmm....just not sure yet....
I am not sure what these are,
but they sure are pretty..
and see if they have opened up anymore..
(Wanda frrom "moments of mine blog" said these were called indian pipes)thanks Wanda..
It is time to go home!!
for a long time..Shag the cat is tired..
A very cute post. He sure enjoys your company!
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Loved taking the walk with you. As far as the red leaves go, I think I'm ready. Summer is just too exhausting!
ReplyDeleteHaving Shags around is like having a little doggy friend go for walk with you. Neat!
ReplyDeleteThis week to my great surprise I saw not just one but two squirrels in the front yard. We live near this park and all these trees around but in 11 years I have never seen a squirrel in our yard. I'm thinking it might be because we had a petting zoo next door and people dropped off cats which produced feral cats. But the zoo and cats are all gone and I'm so pleased to have squirrels!
We got a big thunder storm here last night and it's raining. Did you get a storm too in KY?
I'm still sick but hope to some things done today.
Hugs
I love your photo stories, lovely walk with pal Shag. :o) I'm real curious about that pink fungal type plant you found!
ReplyDeleteI just don't know what that plant is..if you find out let me know..
ReplyDeleteHi Andora...
ReplyDeleteI was here earlier and left a comment...but don't see it here now...well, anyway I came back to tell you I saw the fungi looking plant at another blog...they called it an Indian Pipe!
I think John got a lecture from the doctor. That there was more than just him to think about. :-)
