MY ALL DAY RHINO RIDE

Hubby was on vacation this week and we didn't go anywhere on vacation,we just stayed here in the mountains,We have a Rhino ATV that we ride a lot in the woods and in the hills here where we live,so it is kinda like vacation every weekend. But here is a few things we saw on our all day Saturday ride. A black snake,a huge owl,not sure what kind,a whitetail deer,a lot of turkeys, more than you see here, and a water snake.I love, love, love nature and wildlife. We just get in the Rhino at our house and can ride all day in the big woods,I think we rode 70 miles on Saturday..

  3. That is probably a barred owl. Great Horned would have the "ears" sticking up

You did have a great day and have no need to go away on vacation...I almost feel the same...although my getaway woods aren't near that large, I do love to explore them.

  6. I've never been on an ATV ride, although my Dad had one for a few years and went with a group riding in the mountains most every weekend.

Thanks for visiting my blog! No wonder you said you liked Kentucky Wonder pole beans, *wink*
I'm adding you to my list of blogs to follow, yours looks inviting and homey. I'll be bacjk when life slows just a bit to read and take a better look at all your photos. I could live without the snake pictures though, YUCK!

  7. Sounds like a lot of fun riding for miles and miles in the woods and countryside.
Love the pictures of the deer, owl, and wild turkeys, not so thrilled about the snakes, I just don't understand them .
I like things with fur and feathers ;)

  9. Love all your findings, except for the snake. I don't particularly care for snakes. . . or spiders. I'd love to see an owl.
