I AM HOME!!!!!!

I don't have to many pics to show you,It was day when we got there but it was really late when our Marines got in,so it was dark and I didn't get a lot of shots..and also I was so excited to see my boy that I forgot to take more..This is in front of the barracks. This is the barracks and the tents set up with food for all of us as we wait.
Just a small portion of what it looked like..There are so many barracks all over this place..It is so big that we got lost trying to find where he would be..The Marines return in groups, there would be so many of them return one day and so many a few days later and so on until they all get back..
Here they come marching, all we could do is look and cheer our Marines return..After they were dismissed we could go to them,It was easy to spot my son,He was in front. The Marine standing there was there to keep everyone behind the white lines,But there was a lot of neck craning to see.

That is my son second from left in front..

After they were dismissed they got a 96 hour leave,so he was ready to go,so we headed to our hotel to visit..But first there was a lot of hugging going on...

Thanks to all my blogging buddies that prayed for us,and the nice comments that were left, you all are the best...It is good to be home safe and sound..My son will get to come home for a visit real soon....

  5. I can just imagine how you felt. I would worry so much if my sons were in the military. My husband (then boyfriend)was in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He didn't get sent to Vietnam, but I was so happy when his boat came into port.

  6. I know you're so proud of him!
Where will he be stationed now? My brother was at Camp LeJune for 4 years. It's beautiful there!

Are you as wet in the East as we are in the west? We're doing the backstroke in Hopkinsville!
