Walking in the Big Woods today was very different from last week,The leaves are becoming more brighter and so beautiful..

Just looking upward is even more beautiful than looking downward all the time..you do miss a lot by not looking up....

This is where hubby and I sit in the big woods for little talks, and just to be in the woods where all is quiet. except: for the chipmunks ,
squirrels or birds that happen along...

A pretty fallen maple leaf that is covered in rain....

And the pretty
shrooms I found were all in a row..

Or sideways...up and down...

or just all bunched up.....

There were tons of these little guys all over a fallen tree..
They look like you could just pick and eat them..
Look at all the bugs that are under the shroom trying to stay out of the rain...
Shag the cat was to busy with a chipmunk to go with me today,It did get away and was under the porch, and Shag couldn't get through the lattice to get him,but he sure was trying,so since the chipmunk was safe, and I just couldn't tempt Shag away....I was on my way.....I see where his heart is....
One last little note:::thanks for your help in trying to find the Olive Garden dressing..tried all the websites and suggestions to no avail..so I guess I will buy some from the Olive Garden itself...
Take Care All!!!!!!

Hi, I'm new to your blog. Saw the link on Country Whispers site. Your pics are wonderful and enjoyed reading your blog. I will be back!
ReplyDeleteCheryl
those mushrooms do look like you could pick and eat them. Wonderful fall pictures!
ReplyDeleteShag the kitty is so darn cute! I have to admit that I'm happy he didn't eat the poor little chipmunk, though. As always, incredible photos! I love how your chairs seem to be resting on gorgeous pink, red, and yellow flower petals, aka fall leaves. Ahhhhhh. I wish I was sitting there.
ReplyDeleteDid you eat any of the mushrooms? I have a friend who picks wild ones to eat. Me? I'm not brave enough! I just love the picture of shag on your sidebar! Oh our cats! What would we do without them?
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking us on the walk with you!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice autumn shots! We get those round 'shrooms too.
ReplyDeleteLoved the quiet walk through the woods, isn't nature breathtakingly beautiful ?
ReplyDeleteYou are fortunate enough to live in one of the most spectatular places, up in the mountains, I hope I settle there one day.
Love those chairs in the woods, I bet they have seen some serious discussions :)
Take care, enjoy this Fall weather.
Hugs,
Jo
Andora...yes, Fit & Flabless is my SIL. I joke with her all the time and say that Weight Watcher bloggers can follow her recipes & such and then on the days they fall off the WW wagon they can come to my site for the full flavor, full fat recipes. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your evening!
Love Autumn and loved your pictures!
