The staff here put up a huge Christmas tree by the fire place at Christmas time...and yes I said Christmas tree not Holiday tree...

Something that is really cool is each of the tables (square and round) makes a chair like the one below...
They told me that this was Miss Pettit's bed,She was one of the founders of the school back in 1913....
And also there are many articles here at the school that was used for sewing and spinning and many other things..Remember it was a full functional school way back when...
There are so many things to say and tell of this place that there is just not enough time and space....Just wanted you to see a little of what I do and am interested in around this time of year...And I plan on going back to see the live nativity in December.....

That is an old bed...
And oh yeah the food was plentiful and the square dancing was awesome...fun was had by all...young and old alike...

You're so lucky to have attended such a beautiful school. And you're right, the woodwork is really something. It's all been looked after so well. And by the way...we don't have a holiday tree here either. ;)
