FREEZING FOR WINTER

I have been busy this past week freezing my green beans and several different kinds of squash. The squash I just wash them and then slice, and l put one layer at a time in one gallon freezer bags with wax paper between each layer, then freeze, when ready to eat just get out the amount you want put in frying pan with a little olive oil and garlic salt, when browned on both sides sprinkle with a little sugar and Parmesan cheese..

  1. If I get a little too much squash, I might try this. I have frozen squash before, but not this way, this seems very easy. Squash bread is good, too, with your extra squash and it freezes really well.

  3. You don't have to blanch them first? I like your way A LOT better!
